The Reid Newspapers Route 66 Centennial Poker Run is a statewide, multi-month celebration honoring the 100th Anniversary of Route 66 while highlighting the unmatched footprint of Reid Newspapers, which operates the largest collection of newspapers located directly on Route 66 in the nation.

From April 15 through June 20, 2026, car cruisers, families, and Route 66 enthusiasts will travel Oklahoma's Mother Road, stopping in Reid Newspaper communities to collect custom playing cards, experience local history, and celebrate small-town America.

The event culminates on June 20 in Weatherford during Heartland Cruise 2026, one of Oklahoma's largest Route 66 Centennial celebrations, featuring cash prizes, classic cars, live entertainment, historic exhibits, and a major awards ceremony.
